The International Conference in Rotorua, New Zealand took place from July 26-29, 2013 and
was the most exciting conference ever!
In an exciting opening ceremony, International President, Dona Johnson, clothed in a traditional Maori cape of imitation
fur trimmed with real feathers proceeded to the stage where all of the Altrusa members were entertained by a Maori dance troupe.
Ilona Kerby was elected International President. Sylvia Silverman was elected President-Elect! Her husband had
taken seriously ill while they were in Australia and Sandy Craig, our former governor, spoke charmingly and sincerely
for Sylvia!
